City Tour
Kuala Lumpur is the capital and largest city in Malaysia. Over the recent decades, Kuala Lumpur or commonly known as "KL", has been transformed into a thriving metropolis with spectacular buildings like the Petronas Towers (the world's tallest twin towers) and extensive shopping opportunities through mega shopping malls. KL has also retained and maintained historical buildings, tranquil spots of nature and a unique cultural experience. Today, the landscape of KL is a blend of modernity and traditional charm. Hawker stalls and pre-war shophouses compete alongside skycrappers and sophisticated buildings. This is Kuala Lumpur - the gateway to a different experience.

This tour is a must, especially for first time visitors to KL. During this tour, you will discover exciting landmarks of the city. Your tour will begin with a photo stop at the Petronas Twin Towers, the 2nd tallest buildings in the worl, after Taipei 101. The 88-storey Twin Towers is a striking glass and steel combination with floor plans based on an eight-pointed star. The Towers were designed to symbolized strength and grace using geometric principles typified in Islamic architecture.

During the tour, view the splendour of the King's Palace, the official residence of His Majesty, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) of Malaysia, a majestic building nestled within a serene and beautiful 11.34 hectare compound with a variety of plants and flowers.Drive-past the impressive Parliament House, a building complex located in the vicinity of the Perdana Lake Garden, where the Malaysian Parliament assembles. Also located in this area is the Tugu Negara, literally the "National Monument" in Malay. Visit the Masjid Negara, the national mosque of Malaysia which has a capacity of 15,000 worshippers and is situated among 13 acres of beautiful gardens. Located close by is the old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, built in 1910, and was KL's railway hub in the city before the new Kuala Lumpur Sentral assumed much of its role in 2001.

Another must-see is the Dataran Merdeka, literally Independence Square where the British Union Flag was lowered and the Malayan flag was hoisted for the first time at midnight on August 31, 1957. The Sultan Abdul Samad Building, which grandly overlooks the Dataran Merdeka, is among the most significant landmarks built by the British. Your tour ends with a drive around Chinatown where you will pass by the intriguing Petaling Street, still the best place to shop for branded look-alike products and a large selection of local Chinese cuisine. Bargaining is a common trait here and is usually crowded in the evenings with locals and tourists alike.
